Nice job. When people remix Turrican music, one problem always seems to be that people select synths that have the wrong tonal colour as compared to the tfmx originals, which changes the emphasis of the hole song, by making a melody heavier or cords more prominant.
You've however selected a really good set of synths that don't change the over all tone and atmosphere of the pieces, which is great, ---- indeed there were only two instrument selects I was less keen on, the synth trumpet for the T1 title main theme, and the bells at the end to play the final tune, sinse they were a little too quiet.
But this is me being picky, generally things were pretty good all round, ---- I was especially impressed with the wall, sinse this seems something everyone tries to remix and gets wrong.
Perhaps in future you could considder also doing music for some of our T2002 levels, either more remixes, or some of your own compositions in Turrican style. |
