Super Turrican 2 - the last Turrican for a long time had a hard time appealing Turrican-fans. For better sales on the SNES, complex levels were exchanged for big special-effects and more diversity. The basic Super Turrican gameplay was improved, adding the rope from Turrican 3 (using an easier handling), nicely updated weapons and the new flame-thrower. Diversity was impressive, about every second level had very unique gameplay - but after all the game was just too straight.
