Turrican 2 Extro

Greetings ^,..,^

I am having a problem with the Turrican 2 Extro. Whenever it loads the scene just after you have beaten "The Machine" and there is a large object blowing up just before the awesome credits music starts, all I get is white and black vertical lines across the whole screen, and the explosions are just barely visable white boxes. The extro text is also just long white rectangles.
I so miss this extro. Can anyone offer any help?

P.S. I am using images of my own Turrican 2 and Kickstart, and WinFellow.

I'm quite sure you're not using an image of your own Turrican 2 - it's copy protected.
Try to use UAE and/or another disk image.

I'm sure you know as well as I that there's always a way around copy protections

Anyways, the UAE doesn't work for me, all I get is a window that's similar to an MS-DOS window.

I'm having the exact same issue, and have tried the game downloaded from Factor 5 and 'other' sources to make sure it wasn't just the particular file I had, but the issue occured on every single one.

Of course you have the exact same issue, cause you use the exact same computer.
By the way, the Factor5 image is broken for the reason I explained in my first post.

Hm, good point. So it's just the system causing it?

And try to get a different image, maybe the CAPS release. (anyone testet the extro there yet?)

You're tutorial needs an update, WinUAE looks different now and the Quickstart dialog makes starting A500 games much easier

Oh, and I'll be willing to test the extro if I can get the CAPS one

Well, the CAPS version still eludes me, so looks like I'll have to play without the extro =\

Oh, hold that thought, someone sent it to my email and I can play it with WinUAE. Extro works with CAPS ^^
Just one problem (with WinUAE), when in fullscreen, the sound 'play speed' seems to double, ie. when you pick up a power up, the voice-over sounds like he's been inhaling helium. Same with the music. But this only happens in fullscreen.

hello from me.Try to tweek the sound buffer option of winuae.This can be done by pressing F12 during play and go to the sound menu.Hope that helps.It did for me

Just cleared it (the CAPS version) and the extro is fully intact.
