Mega Turrican

Disclaimer: I'm not ranting at any one person in particular (it's just easier to talk that way). I am ranting at the lack of Mega Turrican anything on this page.

I'm ASHAMED of this page. You call yourselves Turrican fans and you make absolutely NO mention of Mega Turrican? This is easily one of the best of the series. For the music alone it's completely worth playing.

Console blindness is not a healthy thing to have, you know. Consoles are only a means to an end. It doesn't matter what system a game was released for, a good game will remain a good game. Limiting your spectrum to games only on the popular console is a good way to completely miss some great games (and since emulation is so readilly accessible you have no excuse). If you're a 2D sidescroller fan I can list some that are well worth playing.

I will be releasing a game rip soundtrack of this game eventually. If you can't at least give Mega Turrican a shot then I urge you to listen to it's soundtrack, as it's some of the highest quality sound I've heard come out of a Genesis. Furthermore... Mega Turrican is like a Super Turrican 1.5. Super Turrican 2 took a much different approach to things.

I think most people coming to this website on regular basis know Mega Turrican and they also don't suffer from console blindness.
Well, most Turrican fans who played the first two of the series still like them better than any of the console sequels though. Deal with it!

Ouch... yeah generalizing and ranting when you don't have all the facts is a pretty terrible idea. Well... this monkey shall leave you alone, as he didn't really mean any harm and was really just bored. The afore-mentioned console blindness thing just kind of gets to me (grew up on sega... never owned a snes until years after the fact).

Uh, I didn't know that Robert suffers under console blindness, terrible thing I heard.
