I beat Mega Turrican for the Sega Genesis today

What a great game, I remember when I beat Super Turrican (my first Turrican game) for the SNES, it only felt better when I beat Mega Turrican! Mega Turrican is currently my favorite console Turrican, it has practically the same sound track that Super Turrican had (original music by Chris Hulsbeck- good stuff), and the levels and action is alot funner. I just hated how the all rounder lazer was replaced with the rope. Oh well, still one of my favorite games. Mega Turrican is Turrican 3 on the Amiga right? I ordered Turrican (Turrican 1 for the Amiga right?) for the Genesis online, but it hasn't come yet, I hope Super Turrican and Mega Turrican can prepare me for the greatest challenge of all! I don't think there are any other Turricans out there tougher than Turrican on the Genesis, you can die in a milisecond if your not careful! Someone do correct me if there is indeed a harder Turrican...

I wonder why they never remade Turrican II (publically known as the best Turrican game ever made) on a console like they did for the Genesis with Turrican and Turrican 3...

Turrican1 for the Megadrive isn' that good, better play the Amiga version.

And well, a harder Turrican, it's the other way arround, Mega Turrican, and Super Turrican are way too easy.

And you know, Turrican 2 exists in the form of Universal Soldier for consoles.

And now congratiulations for coming through the game.

But the fact that Universal Soldier is not Turrican really upsets me, sad but I am not gonna play some wannabe Turrican game, so I have no interest at all in Universal Soldier. Super Turrican and Mega Turrican (well Mega Turrican is understandable) being too easy? Have you ever played Contra? Those games are easier than those two Turrican games. I guess Amiga games were just generally tougher than our NES/SNES games back in the day, because Turrican on the Genesis is tough as nails. And I know the Amiga version of Turrican 1 is better than the Genesis/Megadrive, but do you think I can play it on the Amiga if I wanted to???

Oh yes I played Contra, and I proudly made the first level...

Contra is really hard!
And I'm serious with that...

Maybe the playing style from Contra is incompatible to that from Turrican, and the other way arround.

Woah, Contra for the NES?????? No WAY!!! AWSOME! You actually work (or have worked for) Konami!??! DUDE! Anyways, Contra is one of the easiest games I have ever played, as long as you are good with keeping the Spread Gun, and you can dodge bullets while timing jumps, this game is very easy. I aced Contra on any mode, any day, and I never had to use the classic 30 live cheat code (unless I play co-op with my friends cuz they are newbies . I found Mega and Super Turrican, not to Mention Turrican 1 for the Genny to be harder than Contra, sure you can take more damage, but getting hit is alot more common, and some levels require the greatest of skill when timing jumps and avoiding cliffs...

I also have and have beaten Super Contra (Contra II) for the NES, Operation Contra for the GameBoy, and Contra III for the SNES (except I have only beaten Contra III on easy and normal; still working on hard!)

Oh, a missunderstanding: "I made the level" means, I've beaten it!

And I was speaking about Contra III for the SNES.

So I wanted to say, that ContraIII was so hard for me, that I was really happy to come trough level1...

LOL I am so gullible at times, sorry for the misread . Ya, Contra III was always tougher than the NES Contra's, but I have enough experiance to wiz through that game too. But Hard mode is something else! Congrats on making it through level 1 =D
